Terms of Service
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using DocFlow, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
The service
DocFlow provides PDF and image utilities — merge, split, compress, convert, edit, sign, scan, and remove backgrounds, among others — over HTTPS. Most tools work as a guest with no account; some account-related features (like saved data export or account deletion) require signing in. There's no per-task cap and no forced sign-in to start using a tool.
Accounts
- You're responsible for keeping your password and signed-in sessions secure.
- You must provide accurate information when registering.
- You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- You may delete your account at any time from your account page.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use DocFlow to:
- Upload or process files you don't have the right to use.
- Upload malware, or content that's illegal or infringes someone else's rights.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or authentication.
- Probe, scan, or load-test the service without authorization.
- Resell or rehost the service as your own without permission.
Availability & rate limits
To keep the service usable for everyone, uploads are rate-limited per IP address and per account. DocFlow may also enter maintenance mode for upgrades, during which non-essential traffic is temporarily paused. As a self-hosted application, DocFlow is provided without an uptime guarantee or formal SLA unless separately agreed with the operator.
Your files
You retain all rights to the files you upload. Uploaded files and their processed outputs are automatically deleted from the server within about an hour — DocFlow is not a storage or backup service, so download and keep your own copy of anything you need to retain. See the Privacy Policy for full details on retention.
Intellectual property
The DocFlow software, branding, and website are proprietary — all rights reserved. These terms don't grant you any rights to the underlying software beyond using the hosted service as intended.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Automated processing — such as watermark removal, OCR, or format conversion — may not produce a perfect result for every document. Review outputs before relying on them, especially for legal, financial, or safety-critical use.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DocFlow and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data that resulted from the automatic file deletion described above.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of DocFlow after a change means you accept the updated terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever that happens.
